Happy New Year 2024

Welcome back, I hope everyone got enough rest and enough to eat. Is it just me or did everyone else have a hard time unwinding? For me it seemed like there was so much to do and I had a hard time turning the switch off. I know on Christmas day I needed some stainless steel bolts from Tractor Supply but realized it was Christmas. I believe it was December 28th I decided to kick back and just chill out. We get so involved with our businesses that its hard to disconnect, I've always related this to the difference between being and owner operator and an employee. My wife should be awarded mother of the year, she is much better at changing from CEO to mommy at 5 pm. For me, at 5 pm (if I get to go home at that time) I want to unwind by turning something on the tv while I eat my dinner before spending the rest of the evening of Facebook Marketplace. I'm going to be very honest and vulnerable here and admit how this keeps me from being "Father of the year". My dad wasn't always in the floor playing hot wheels with me and I can only remember 1 time that he play Nintendo with me, He was always working. And often times when he was working he took me with him. Now my wife on the other hand had a father that worked his 10 a day shifts and come home, he didn't have the headaches of owning a business. She gives me a hard time when I can't put the phone down when I get home or when I don't spend time with the kids. Somehow I have had the mindset that being home is being a dad and that doesn't meet the standard for my wife or for me. I must do better. So why would I blog about this today? I can't be the only person struggling with this. The Bible says that iron sharpens iron and that is so true, how can I help you? I want Towtal Advantage to give back your life at home to your family. In having us as your office assistance team, you should be able to REST assured that we are making your life and business easier. Our position has always been to take as much stress away from the owner operator so he could focus on operating. How can this help our bigger clients with dozens of trucks and employees? Iron sharpens iron, machines are built by gears and iron and components twisting and turning on one another to help us achieve our goals. If we (Towtal Advantage, the office staff) and the owner work together sharing the load the stress is alleviated from the other components, working like a well-oiled machine. We hope and strive to help and the proof is in the pudding. Who doesn't like pudding?
